FNS ANNOUNCES A NEW ONLINE RESOURCE FOR NUTRITION EDUCATORS

USDA's Food and Nutrition Service (FNS)and the National Agricultural
Library's Food and Nutrition Information Center(FNIC)are pleased to announce the arrival of an exciting online resource!

This new web site, called Food Stamp Nutrition Connection, is designed to
improve access to Food Stamp Program nutrition resources. Educators
nationwide can use this site to identify curricula, lesson plans, research,
training tools and participant materials. The first phase of the Food Stamp
Nutrition Connection is now available at www.nal.usda.gov/foodstamp.
At the web site, you will find nutrition tools and information specifically
addressing the needs of low-income audiences. Major sections of the site
include a Training Center, Resource Library, Hot Topics A-Z and Program
Facts.
