Upcoming Stanford Healthy Living Program: Your opportunity to take a health class on-line!

The Stanford School of Medicine is inviting people to take part in a free six-week online health workshop and research study for people with heart disease, lung disease, or type II diabetes. It will be a six-week, small group, interactive workshop conducted entirely on the Internet.

Workshop topics include exercise, healthy eating, medication use, communication skills, dealing with difficult emotions, treatment decisions, and problem-solving. You will share your experiences with your classmates and moderators by computer, and have an opportunity to both receive and give suggestions and support.

You can participate in the workshop at any time during each week. All that is asked is that you spend a total of 2 hours a week on your computer for six weeks, visiting the workshop and completing activities online. Ý
