| 134 MEN SCREENED AT SEPTEMBER AWARENESS SUNDAY EVENT On Sunday, September 8, 2002, the African American Community Health Advisory Committee helds its 7th annual Prostate Awareness Sunday screening and educational program. In addition to the 134 men that were screened, more than 125 people attended the public program to hear Billy Davis, Jr and Marilyn McCoo (formally of the 5th Dimensions)tell their personal experience with the disease. Dr. Lionel Foster served as master of ceremonies.The event was an amazing community outreach and collaboration by extraordinary Mills-Peninsula staff, advisory committee members and community volunteers.
